About the Lizzie Newman Brown Scholarship

Lizzie Newman Brown was a Johnson County teacher for over twenty years. Her passion for learning and sharing knowledge inspired two of her three grandchildren to become teachers. This nonrenewable $750.00 scholarship in her name is given in remembrance by her granddaughter Natasha Usher Niemi and Kurt Niemi.
